And the firm also benefits from the founder of the firm’s experience of over 46 years (Teddar S. Brooks ~ 1945-2021). All the partners concentrate their practices in Estate Planning, Asset Protection Planning, Tax Planning, Business Succession Planning, and Trust and Estate Administration. The firm also has many clients outside of New York State, whom we work with in conjunction with their local counsel.

Shawn is a partner of the firm and is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law.
Prior to coming to the firm, Shawn worked as an attorney for an insurance company. Shawn is also the proud owner of the firm’s mascot, “Luna,” an eight year old mixed breed dog that everyone just adores.

Kameron Brooks – Kameron is semi-retired and serves as Of Counsel to the firm. He is a graduate of SUNY at Fredonia and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law. He has practiced in the estate planning, estate administration and tax fields for over 47 years. He is also a past instructor of paralegal courses at Jamestown Community College, has lectured extensively in Estate and Medicaid planning topics, participated as presenter on numerous occasions for the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Section meetings for lawyers, and written several articles for bar association journals. Prior to his legal career, Kameron was a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army, serving one year in Vietnam, and has authored a book on his experiences as a combat pilot.
