The partners of the firm have over 60 years of combined experience in helping clients plan to protect and pass on their wealth to their intended beneficiaries. And the firm also benefits from the founder of the firm’s experience of over 46 years (Teddar S. Brooks ~ 1945-2021). All the partners concentrate their practices in Estate Planning, Asset Protection Planning, Tax Planning, Business Succession Planning, and Trust and Estate Administration. The firm also has many clients outside of New York State, whom we work with in conjunction with their local counsel.
Kameron Brooks, Esq.
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Kameron Brooks – Kameron, senior partner of the firm and a graduate of SUNY at Fredonia and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law. He has practiced in the estate planning, estate administration and tax fields for over 44 years. He is also a past instructor of paralegal courses at Jamestown Community College, has lectured extensively in Estate and Medicaid planning topics, participated as presenter on numerous occasions for the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Section meetings for lawyers, and written several articles for bar association journals. Prior to his legal career, Kameron was a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army, serving one year in Vietnam, and has authored a book on his experiences as a combat pilot.
Jay William Frantz, Esq.
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Jay is a partner and Chief Technology Officer of the firm. He is a graduate of Gowanda Central School (Valedictorian, class of 2003), holds a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management from Clarkson University and a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Jay also taught courses in Statistics and Business Communications at SUNY Fredonia for several years, and has served as a presenter for the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Section’s seminar for lawyers.
Shawn Stockwell, Esq.

Shawn is a partner of the firm and is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law.
Prior to coming to the firm, Shawn worked as an attorney for an insurance company. Shawn is also the proud owner of the firm’s mascot, “Luna,” a five year old mixed breed dog that everyone just adores.
